Patricia Estorge, Office Manager

Patricia Estorge

Patricia Estorge graduated from USL (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette), with a B.A. in business. She then spent many years in the wholesale drug and medical supply business. Ms. Estorge has now been in the legal profession since 2005.

 

Clarissa Long, Paralegal

Clarissa Long

Clarissa Long joined Gibson Law Partners, LLC, shortly after the firm opened, bringing her 24 years of relevant legal experience with her. In 1992, she received her paralegal certificate from USL (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and has been working in the legal field as a legal assistant and paralegal since that time. Her prior legal experience was focused on litigation, including maritime, personal injury, insurance defense and medical malpractice. At Gibson Law Partners, LLC, she has added the fields of professional liability and probate liability to her already impressive list of practice areas.

 

Michelle Neef, Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP)

Michelle Neef

Michelle E. Neef is an advanced certified paralegal (ACP) with over 30 years of legal experience. She obtained her associate degree in office administration from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) in 1985. In 1988, Michelle became a notary public and later went on to receive her paralegal certificate in 1992 from USL. In 1995, she sat for and obtained her certified legal assistant (CLA) designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants. Most recently, she received her designation of Advanced Certified Paralegal in E-discovery from the National Association of Legal Assistants.

Michelle is currently a member of the Louisiana State Paralegal Association and the Lafayette Paralegal Association. Michelle has been working with our team for 13 years.

 

Susan Quebedeaux, Staff Manager

Susan Quebedeaux

Susan Quebedeaux lives in Lafayette and has been an integral part of Jim’s practice for more than 30 years. She graduated from T.H. Harris Vocational Technical School in 1979 in secretarial studies and began working as a legal secretary in Opelousas. In 1985 she married, moved to Lafayette and began working for Jim Gibson.

 

Lesley Trahan, Accounts REceivable Manager

Lesley Trahan

Lesley Trahan is a commissioned Notary Public and a graduate of McNeese State University having earned a degree in Paralegal Studies. Her legal experience includes personal injury law, real estate transactions, general civil practice, insurance defense, public entity defense, school law, as well as general law office administration, legal e-billing, and appeals. She joined Gibson Law Partners in 2018 as a paralegal, and in 2019, was promoted to her current position as Accounts Receivable Manager. Lesley is also a member of the Lafayette Paralegal Association, having served as President for 2 years, as well as other offices and committee roles.

 

Nancy Hartwell, Paralegal

Nancy Hartwell

Nancy Hartwell moved to Lafayette from New Orleans in 1982. Her legal career began in 1984 as a receptionist while attending paralegal classes at USL. She has been assisting Lafayette firms in a paralegal capacity since 1991. Nancy brings 27 plus years of legal experience to GLP, with emphasis on litigation of maritime personal injury claims from an insurance defense perspective and longshore workers compensation claims. She has assisted in wage claims and wrongful termination suits, and has been instrumental in the creation and management of databases for document intensive files, discovery, document exchange and preparations for trial. Nancy is currently a member of the Lafayette Paralegal Association.

 

Amy Broussard, Paralegal

Amy Broussard

Amy Broussard graduated with a degree in Paralegal Studies from McNeese State University in 1999. Since then, she has over 15 years of legal experience in complex litigation matters of professional liability such as lawyers and law firms, doctors and health care providers, architects and engineers, insurance agents and accountants, general casualty such as oilfield, maritime, trucking, premise, construction and design, and products liability personal injuries, property damages, revenue losses, and commercial and probate lawsuits and disputes.

 

Denise LeBlanc, Paralegal

Denise LeBlanc

Denise LeBlanc joins our firm with over 28 years of legal experience. She has worked primarily with Marc Moroux for over 20 of those years. Her prior legal experience is in complex litigation matters of professional liability such as lawyers and law firms, doctors and health care providers, architects and engineers, insurance agents and accountants, general casualty such as oilfield, maritime, trucking, premises, construction and design, and products liability personal injuries, property damages, and revenue losses, and commercial and probate lawsuits and disputes. She also served as Marc Moroux’s executive assistant during his tenure as general and corporate counsel for an energy construction and fabrication group of companies where she was responsible for maintaining corporate documents, regulatory filings, litigation management, master service agreements, contracts, and related activities.

 

Megan Neef, Marketing & Operations Manager

Megan Neef

Megan Neef is from Lafayette, Louisiana and has worked with Gibson Law Partners since 2019. Megan has three years of file clerk experience and is now integral with marketing content and billing assistance. She obtained her associate degree in Business Administration in 2020 and in December of 2021will graduate with her Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

 

Allison Humphreys, Paralegal

Allison M. Humphreys

Allison M. Humphreys is a paralegal with 15 years of paralegal experience in the Lafayette and Baton Rouge area. In 1991, Allison earned a B.S. degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Interior Merchandising and quickly learned that this was not her calling. In 1992, Allison attended and graduated, with honors, from the ABA approved National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Georgia with a specialty in civil litigation. Allison’s legal career has focused mainly on personal injury law and class action lawsuits. Allison joins the firm of Gibson Law Partners as the paralegal.

 

Melanie Robillard, Bookkeeper

Melanie Robillard

Melanie Robillard was raised in New Iberia. She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette earning a B. S. degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting. Melanie joins the firm with 14 years of accounting experience. During her 14 years as an accountant, she was employed in both public and private accounting.

 

Mary Richard, Paralegal

Mary Richard

Mary H. Richard obtained a paralegal certificate from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) in 1995, and has been working as a paralegal since that time. Prior legal experience includes medical malpractice and insurance defense with a focus on litigation. Mary joined Gibson Law Partners as a paralegal in 2019.
