Halee Snellgrove Maturin joined Gibson Law Partners, LLC as an associate in June 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014, where she graduated magna cum laude. She later attended Paul M. Hebert Louisiana State University Law Center, where she earned her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law. While in law school, Halee was an active participant in the law center’s trial advocacy program, where she served on the LSU Law Center Trial Advocacy Board. Halee also wrote for The Civilian, LSU Law Center’s student-run newspaper, where she served as a news writer and web director of the paper. Upon graduation from law school in 2017, Halee worked as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick L. Michot, a district court judge in the 15th Judicial District. Halee’s practice focuses on complex litigation and professional liability litigation, including litigation involving attorney malpractice, medical malpractice, accountant malpractice, architect and engineer malpractice, insurance agent malpractice, real estate malpractice, and ethical complaints against lawyers and judges. Halee is a member of both the Lafayette Parish Bar Association and the John M. Duhe, Jr. America Inns of Court.
